Education
I offer three English-oriented programs designed for specific purposes
Catchin' up

One of the problems you can encounter even living in a foreign environment is the lack of feedback. You can find yourself being politely nodded with no regard to your performance whatsoever. That's why we recommend catching up – speaking nonchalantly with a friend you can trust will give you honest feedback and notes and help you polish your speech.
Having several courses a year can assist you in tracking your progress and help getting external evaluation.

Aim

The main objective of the course is to provide speaking practise in a safe environment with honest and precise feedback after each session. I will highlight positive aspects and outline the room for further improvement.

Process

A session looks like a couple of friends exchanging news (catching up) after some time apart but one of them asks questions and listens while the second talks). English itself is not the priority, I will give minimum corrections during the session keeping the main comment till after the end. Then I will speak about good and bad things in your performance and some ideas on how to amplify the former and eliminate the latter.

The School of Life

Imagine that you got your dream job, relocated, settled in, survived your first month at work, started to develop some sort of comprehension, and eventually had your first outing with colleagues. And when all working matters put aside you realize that in your communications not only you need to have tasks done but you have to express yourself, opinions, and viewpoints on a variety of topics. You may find yourself mute and unable to speak on most trivial subjects. There can be two problems: either you know the matters but in your native tongue and need to translate your thoughts, or these topics are totally unfamiliar.

It's time to go back to school.
Our one-year program aims at mastering English via expending the World view and acquiring new knowledge in English directly, covering all possible topics an educated person must know to orient themselves in modern life.

The course is built with a unique approach – spiral. Starting from common and everyday topics the spiral will lead you from ignorance) Along the way each topic will be repeated at least three times – in different contexts and clusters – and looked at from different angles.

Aim

The main objective is to study English in the best and most complex way - getting new knowledge in English directly. As a result you will have a new view on the world through new optics. You will feel comfortable around all subjects and will be able to discuss a variety of topics.

Process

Each lesson will start with a small talk which will be guided into the planned subject. There will be a video related to the matter (from the public domain) no longer than 10 min (usually 5) a slight discussion afterwards. I will guide you in a specific way - every sentence or question will be a little broader than your knowledge and skill (either in terms of vocabulary, grammar, or phonetics and pace), so you will have to keep up but in a gentle way. Topics will be repeated several times and each iteration it will be more complex. Homework will be given after lessons but it is up to you.
Speaking for STEM Professionals (experimental)

If you have been working in IT for any stretch of time you don't need to study English. You're perfectly capable of dealing with everyday tasks and assignments, and something tells me in some aspects you know things better than… But no, in my years of working with STEM professionals I saw how time after time the most bright of them struggled to express themselves and lose the reins, get relaxed, chill and travel freely across their narratives and stories.

In this experimental course we will try to develop your right hemisphere and learn how to use English in unusual environments and develop eloquence, elegance, and introduce some emotional and melodic elements to your speech. The balanced development of our brain is a key element of breaking the glass ceiling and overcoming any stall in career advancement.

Aim

The main objective of this course is to help people who don't deal with people and communication much develop verbal skills, spatial awareness and understanding of physical aspects of English.
Secondary objective is to study English in a new way with focus on expressing emotion, as well as balance the development of both hemispheres.

Process

There is no scripted plan for the course, but the general approach is me creating some sort of stage and frame and you trying to relax and try a new role.

Disclaimer

I'm not a medical professional and can't provide any assistance with any conditions and disorders. If you think your speaking problems may be caused by something beyond lack of practise and knowledge - you need to consult a specialist.

Limitation

Since the course has some emotional element you need to be ready to experience and express some, this requires courage and open-mindness. Also you will need to have privacy during the lessons.
